New book and a picture
I was cleaning out my garage recently. Amongst a lot of useless information from when I was a postgrad at Warwick many moons ago – such as who had which office – I found a picture I had drawn on a blackboard but had forgotten. It’s a trefoil with a disc wrapped round it.
As an undergrad I got into drawing maths pictures when I found A Topolgical Picturebook by GK Francis in the library. Well worth getting your hands on to have a look at. And you can compare my rather amateurish attempt above with the original.
Some other news. I’ve been to told not to do it but I’m rebelling:
I’m writing a new book.
This is a special project as it will not be the usual sort of book. Details to follow soon.
